About Our Team
Based in Irving, Texas, we compete in the North Texas region of the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). As a self-funded community team operating out of a garage, we have a shared passion for robotics and innovation. Here’s a look at who we are and the competitions we take part in.
Our Team
Our team has 8 members, each with their own valuable and unique role in the teams success. We have 2 rookie members (Stuart and Elliot) and our senior members help accustom and teach the rookie members all there is to know about first, and this helps our team grow and compete at the highest level.
What is FTC?
FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) is a global robotics competition where middle and high school teams design, build, and program robots to compete in alliance-based challenges. Teams work throughout the season—typically from September to May—designing robots and through innovation & collaboration.
The competition emphasizes teamwork, creativity, engineering excellence, and the core value of Gracious Professionalism—competing intensely while showing respect and kindness to others.

2020 – Rookie Season
• Competed in Ultimate Goal challenge
• Qualified for Regionals in our very first season
2021 – Gaining Momentum
• Returned to Regionals
• Gained deeper competitive experience
2022 – Breakthrough Year
• Qualified for the FIRST World Championship (Ochoa Division)
• Invited to MTI (Maryland Tech Invitational)
2023 – Consistency & Progress
• Qualified for Worlds again (Jemison Division)
• Returned to MTI, showing steady elite-level performance
2024 – Our Best Season Yet
• Won Jemison Division at World Championship as Alliance Captains 🏆
• Returned to MTI
• Established ourselves as a top-tier, competitive team
