Our Robot

Into The Deep (2024 - 2025 FTC Season)

After countless iterations to every part of our robot, we created The Reaper, our final version of our robot.

This season, we engineered a high-performance competition robot optimized for the Into the Deep challenge. Featuring a custom-built linear slide system, an adaptive intake mechanism, and precise autonomous routines, our robot was designed to maximize scoring efficiency and versatility on the field. With rigorous testing and iterative design, it helped us win the Jemison Division at Worlds and rank among the top FTC teams globally.

Robot Iterations & Development

Throughout the season, we iterated through four major versions, improving drivetrains, claw mechanisms, and software logic. Each version brought key upgrades that helped us adapt to new challenges and dominate on the field—culminating in a division win at the FIRST World Championship.

Version One

Created with mostly off-the-shelf parts, this was our first robot version. We aimed for reliability and simplicity for this robot, as we knew we would be able to build off of it and make it more efficient & also improve the aesthetics.

Version Two

After we saw the pros and cons of our design, we redesigned into our last major iteration of our robot. It included a new deposit, level 3 hang, and sleek carbon fibre side plates to keep our robot strong & lightweight for a decent price.
